Trap Rings (Sussex Shore)

As silversmiths, hammering is at the heart of what we do, and our jewellers enjoy exploring different techniques to create a unique finish for each piece of jewellery from our Trap Collection. The rings are influenced by pebbles trapped in wood along ever-changing shorelines, and showcase the organic feel of nature’s irregularities.

By using side hammering techniques on gold, silver and platinum metals we are able to shape the precious materials into a wavy texture. This is a popular finish for both men and women, with the look varying depending on band thickness.

To give your metalwork a bit of sparkle and colour, we can embed faceted diamonds, sapphires and other fine gemstones into the surface in random patterns – enhancing the organic, natural feel.

Visit us in Ditchling to see a selection of our Trap rings in person, or browse through our Trap and Hammered Collections online.
