Book Your Jewellery Valuation
Find out your jewellery's worth by having it assessed and valued by our independent registered valuer Tom Ward. Insure your most treasured pieces of jewellery to protect them in the event that they are lost or stolen. Decide whether to keep your item or sell on.
The most common reason to get your jewellery valued is to find out its worth. Our valuation service is available to customers who have individual pieces of jewellery, or a collection of pieces to be valued.
In the case of insurance purposes, we can provide an accurate value for your items that you can use when making a claim in the event that they are lost or stolen. This is particularly useful if you are travelling abroad and don't want to risk losing valuable pieces on holiday.
An accurate valuation can also be used for probate purposes; this will help ensure that your estate is distributed correctly upon death and reduce the time it takes for loved ones to receive their inheritance.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to get your jewellery valued, knowing how much it’s worth is important as this will help you to decide if you want to keep hold of it or not, as well as helping you to make sure that you’re not being overcharged when buying new pieces.

We offer a comprehensive jewellery valuation service. Discounts are available if you're one of our customers and 10% discount applies to re-valuing items within 5 years.
Prices are £120 for the first item and £60 per subsequent item. However, some exceptions apply.
A full written report with photographs
We provide a full written report with photographs, stating the value and a detailed description of each item. This is prepared on our official valuation form. This service also includes an appraisal certificate for insurance purposes, which will be sent to you for your records.
Ability to insure your jewellery
If you are making a claim on your insurance policy, you will need to show that the item was valued at a certain amount and have proof of ownership. This valuation can be used as evidence of the value of the item and is therefore very useful for helping you get the most money in return for your jewellery if it is lost or damaged.
