Meet Kat – Our National Association of Jeweller's Institute of Registered Valuers Member
We are pleased that a key member of our team is a registered valuer: Kat Zahran MIRV, IRV 100823. We are happy to offer a valuation service to enable you to properly insure your jewellery by having it assessed and valued by Kat Zahran, MIRV. A comprehensive valuation is an informed opinion supported by years of industry experience and linked to formal training in gemmology and other specialist areas of product knowledge. The requirement for high standards in valuations has become more pressing over the years, from both insurers and consumers alike, and we are pleased to say that the highest level of standards is represented by Kat’s membership of the National Association of Jewellers’ Institute of Registered Valuers.
The Jewellery Valuation process
Contact Us – Get in touch to arrange an appointment. During your consultation, you and Kat will review your jewellery and discuss your requirements. You’ll then leave your jewellery with us securely.
Jewellery Assessment – Kat will assess and value your jewellery. If necessary, certain pieces may be sent to a laboratory for further detailed testing.
Receive Your Valuation Report & Collect Your Jewellery – Once the assessment is complete, Kat will get in touch with you to provide your fully documented valuation report and arrange a convenient time for you to collect your jewellery.
Prices start from £180
Your bespoke remodelled Pruden & Smith commissions often qualify for a discounted formal valuation as part of the remodelling service. A price guide list if available below and we are very happy to discuss a quote for the provision of valuation services should you not be sure which items you would like to include in a valuation.
We can also arrange, where appropriate, for your diamonds, gemstones and pearls to be tested and graded by a laboratory. This is particularly relevant for larger diamonds weighing in excess of 1.00ct.
