Bespoke Stacking rings have been in the spotlight for a few years now. Our first edition was this simple stack of tourmaline pears shaped stones in 18ct yellow gold settings on a silver shank.
Is it because it’s just about the most fun you can have with a ring? Never dull, never the same. Mix and match. They’re getting more adventurous: this one is based on three bands and set with Amethyst, emerald, citrine, sapphire and diamond.
If you’d like to commission a set we will help you pick your colour range and shapes from diamonds, coloured gemstones or rough cut diamonds or gems from your own from jewellery you want redesigned and put them together into a stunning set of bespoke stacking rings. Or choose one off the shelf. We try to keep a few sets in stock in our Ditchling Gallery handmade in our onsite workshops in Sussex. Whether you choose our neat rough hammered 1.2mm square shanks to support smaller gemstones like these rough diamond stacking rings, (available off the shelf) or 2mm court shanks for larger stones, there is a stacking ring to suit all tastes.
Personalise your bespoke stacking rings
by choosing your families birthstones or just choose from the colour palette that you love.
Starting with the largest stone on the central band stacking rings work best if you work outwards in size so the smallest stones end up on the edge. It’s surprising just how many stones we can fit in, as in the ruby and diamond stacking ring pictured below.
Along with size and quantity its also fun to mix up the shapes in a ring. The ring pictured below is made in white and yellow gold and is set with a clients own half carat emerald cut and baguette cut diamonds.
