Unusual gemstone jewellery is one of our favourite and most popular ranges at Pruden and Smith. Rebecca Smith’s background as a painter (she graduated in Fine Art at Farnham) has always lead her to great colourful designs. Blue and green colours are a particularly favoured gemstone shade. For example, Lapis Lazuli, Labradorite, Aquamarine and Tanzanite are all gemstones of wonderful rich blue colours. Aquamarine can be found in many places, from North America to South America especially Brazil. Labradorite originates from Labrador in Canada but this gemstone is also found in places like Finland. Lapis Lazuli is often found in Afghanistan. It is particularly liked for the gold streaks and flecks within the deep blue colouring. Tanzanite originates from the banks of Lake Tanzania in Africa. This gemstone is often a purple colour but can also come in deep blue. However, blue is not the only gemstone colour around! We also make jewellery with Tourmaline, Sapphire, Ruby, Peridot, Emerald and Amethyst. Tourmaline is particularly beautiful as it comes in yellows, pinks, greens and blues. So, you can enjoy a colour spectrum of gemstone jewellery from us.
